Your calculations stay on your device
Take Home Tax runs every calculation locally in your web browser using JavaScript. The salary and details you enter are never transmitted to our servers, because there is no server doing the maths — it all happens on your screen. We cannot see, log or store your figures.
What we do collect
We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which calculators are useful (for example, page views and general location at country level). This data is anonymised and cannot be used to identify you. We do not sell personal data.
Cookies and advertising
We may show advertising to keep the calculators free. Ad partners may set cookies to measure and serve ads; where required, you will be asked for consent. You can control cookies through your browser settings at any time.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links to financial products are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you sign up. This carries no cost to you and does not affect our calculations or recommendations.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have rights over any personal data a business holds about you. Because we don't collect identifiable calculation data, there is nothing personal for us to retrieve or delete — but if you have any question, email hello@takehometax.co.uk.
